Take a Summer Break from Loan Payments with Skip-A-Pay
Summer is a time for relaxation, adventure, and making memories, not stressing over monthly loan payments.
At UHS Employees Federal Credit Union, we offer our Skip-A-Payment program to provide you with financial flexibility when you need it most.
How Skip-A-Pay Works
Eligible members can defer their loan payments as follows:
- Skip (4) weekly, (2) bi-weekly, or (1) monthly loan payment every 6 months
- Applicable to auto, personal, share-secured, and recreational vehicle loans (excluding AFG Auto Advantage loans)
- A $20 processing fee applies, and interest will continue to accrue during the skipped period
Important Considerations
- If you have Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) coverage, skipping a payment may affect future claims. Please review your GAP contract.
- All borrowers must sign the Skip-A-Payment request form.
- For the first six months of a loan, skip-a-payment is not available.
How to Apply
To take advantage of the Skip-A-Payment program:
- Download the Skip-A-Payment Request Form
- Complete the form, ensuring all borrowers sign.
- Submit the form to any UHS Employees FCU branch at least two days before your loan due date.
