You can request to withdraw your funds in the form of a “cashiers check,” which is a check guaranteed by the Credit Union (unlike a personal check, which is guaranteed by the person writing the check). Cashiers checks are therefore sometimes preferred by some merchants over a personal check.
There is no dollar limit on the amount of a cashiers check.
You must specify who the cashiers check is being written to at the time of purchase.
There is a $1.00 fee for cashiers checks, unless they are being written out to you, in which case they are free.
If you are designated a “Prime Time Member,” there is no charge to purchase a money order.
